In October of 2021 I began working as a Sustainability Analyst at Eversource, after nearly 4 years of supporting the Environmental Licensing and Permitting group, also at Eversource. I have always had an interest in sustainability and was thrilled to have the opportunity to transition into this role. After a few months in this new position, I’ve learned that there is so much more to sustainability than I initially imagined. Environmental, social, and governance topics play a role in essentially every group across the company which means I get to learn from folks with all sorts of backgrounds, histories, and responsibilities at Eversource. In addition to this, sustainability is a very dynamic space, there are new policies, regulatory requirements, and rater expectations seemingly every day. We are at a pivotal moment in terms of energy and sustainability, and I wake up excited to push the needle forward and progress with the industry every day.
