CWEEL Jordan Concludes Ramadan Sustainability Webinar Series
Amman, Jordan – CWEEL Jordan successfully concluded its Ramadan Sustainability Webinar Series, organized in collaboration with the Jordan Engineers Association, its Youth Engineers Committee, and the Jordanian Sustainability Engineers Society. The series reaffirms a shared commitment to advancing sustainability awareness within Jordan’s engineering community.
As part of the series, Eng. Suhair Al Mhairat, MSc., JCE, CEM®REP™, CSDP®, EDGE, and CWEEL Jordan Liaison Officer moderated one of the sessions, highlighting the importance of collaboration between professional associations, youth committees, and sustainability organizations. This collaboration is key to strengthening technical capacity, expanding outreach, and promoting sustainable engineering practices. She also emphasized CWEEL Jordan’s continued role in empowering women professionals and supporting inclusive participation in sustainable development pathways.
The series featured six specialized webinars delivered by distinguished speakers from Jordan and across the Arab region, attracting nearly 1,000 participants. The sessions addressed key sustainability themes, including sustainable development, climate adaptation in engineering projects, green infrastructure, sustainable buildings, industrial carbon footprint management, and excellence and sustainability.
The webinar series provided an interactive platform for knowledge exchange, professional development, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, reinforcing sustainability as a practical approach within the engineering sector.
CWEEL Jordan extends its appreciation to all partners, speakers, and participants whose engagement contributed to the success of this initiative and remains committed to fostering partnerships that advance sustainability leadership and empower the next generation of professionals.
