Monica Bersani

Monica Bersani is currently the Market Manager, Major Accounts at Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW).  The position involves the development of marketing strategies to increase brand awareness.  Monica determines the best campaign programs including but not limited to direct mail, telemarketing, mass media and special events. Monica educates customers regarding new and green natural gas technologies and encourages their adoption; also she supports and promotes CHP systems.  Monica believes in creativity in seeking out new market opportunities.

Monica currently serves as a board member for the Greater Philadelphia Association of Energy Engineers (GPAEE).

Prior to joining PGW Monica worked as the Advertising and Public Relations Manager for Caesars Entertainment’s Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino.  During her time with the casino Monica was awarded the Caesars Entertainment Chairman’s Award which is the highest honor that any Caesars Entertainment associate can be recognized with.  She also was Promotions and Marketing Director for several Philadelphia radio stations including WRDW-FM, Wired 96.5 and WPST-FM 94.5.

Monica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing/Public Relations from La Salle University and an MBA from Jefferson University (formerly Philadelphia University).  Monica is also a competitive Masters rower, coxswain and serves as a board member with Fairmount Rowing Association along Philadelphia’s Boathouse Row.
