Bethany Kay Giordano has 23 years of experience in facilities and environmental engineering. Bethany has been with Toyota since 2002 and is currently a Carbon Neutrality Consultant in Environmental Sustainability. She began her career with Toyota Motor Manufacturing KY (TMMK) in 2002 and spent the first two decades working as a water and energy specialist on the energy management team and as an environmental leader on many projects and activities. In 2020 Bethany transferred to Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) Joining the Facilities Standards and Specifications Team. Here she focused on renewal of facility equipment and standards enhancements. Bethany was promoted to project management in 2023 when she became a part of the Regulatory Affairs and Environmental Sustainability Group. As part of Environmental Sustainability her focus is Carbon Neutrality for all TMNA Sites by 2035.

Bethany is passionate about local volunteering, professional mentoring, living nature positive, respect for people, and encouraging youth to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). She currently serves on the Board of the Council for Women in Energy and Environmental Leadership (CWEEL) and is the Sponsorships and Fundraising Committee Chair. Bethany has her AEE CEM (2006) and her CEA (2012) as well as the Energy Advocate Certificate. She is a Lifetime AEE member and a Legend in Energy having received both the Region 3 (2011) and International (2012) Young Professional Energy Engineer of the Year Award.

Bethany holds an M.S. in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Louisville (UofL) Speed Engineering School and UofL Business School, respectively.
