Presenters:
Mahsa Ghandi is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a focus on developing advanced Lifecycle Assessment (LCA) tools for designing sustainable and resilient residential structures in the United States. Her work includes leading comprehensive LCAs for significant projects like the Lowell Geothermal Network and developing innovative LCA tools for energy-efficient building designs.
Andrea Boero-Vera is a PhD candidate in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She specializes in enhancing the resilience of energy systems within buildings, with a keen focus on sustainability. She gained valuable industry experience, particularly in power generation, through consultancy work.
