The Council on Women in Energy & Environmental Leadership (CWEEL) is a professional women’s organization whose mission is to support the career development, advancement, and fulfillment of women in the energy and environmental industries through programming, networking, outreach, mentorship, and educational based scholarships. CWEEL, a division of the Association of Energy Engineers, is an international organization with 33 Chapters throughout the U.S. and groups in Chile, Jamaica, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, Palestine, Tunisia, and Turkey.
CWEEL provides women an opportunity to come together, share, and support each other in the growth of their professional journey. As a CWEEL Liaison, you are a leader within the CWEEL and AEE organization, working to grow the organization and provide programming that supports the development of women in your chapter and region.
As an international CWEEL Liaison you can bring members a perspective that is distinct and one that speaks to the challenges facing women in the local region. Today we will hear from three CWEEL Liaisons. As leaders in energy they will share their experiences leading their CWEEL groups, their personal career journey and the advantage of being international CWEEL member.
