AEE New England Community Harvest

On the morning of Friday September 15^th, the CWEEL New England Chapter will be volunteering at Community Harvest in North Grafton, MA. This will be our second trip to the non-profit farm which contributes to hunger relief efforts in eastern and central Massachusetts by growing fresh fruit and vegetables. Unfortunately, our volunteer session last September was canceled due to the prolonged dry spell which resulted in a reduced end of summer harvest. Hopefully this year’s session won’t be negatively impacted by the very wet July we’ve had in New England but it’s an important reminder of how important our work in energy and environment is to the well-being of everyone.
