International Women’s Day 2023 is just around the corner! Don’t miss this upcoming CWEEL Event, ‘Advancing Women’s Leadership in Climate Action.’

Women and girls disproportionately suffer the impacts of climate change.  Given their unique perspectives and experiences, they have been stepping up as climate leaders and change agents worldwide, be it in boardrooms, classrooms, legislative chambers, laboratories, community halls, or marching on the streets.   On March 8, 2023, from 11 AM to 12 noon ET, CWEEL is convening a virtual panel discussion featuring three women climate leaders from various parts of the world – Debora Ley, Athena Ronquillo-Ballesteros, and Ghina Annan. 

Crissy Godfrey, CWEEL’s International Groups Chair, will moderate.
