- Technical Session on Networking and Skill Development: CWEEL kicked off its technical track 'Women's Leadership in Global Energy Solutions' with an engaging session focused on networking and practicing newly learned tips. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in interactive exercises designed to enhance their professional connections and apply practical strategies for career advancement.
- Mentoring Session: In another enlightening session, two of our CWEEL Governing Council volunteer leaders presented on the importance of mentoring for developing future leaders. They shared personal experiences and practical advice on how to grow as a mentor, emphasizing the mutual benefits of these relationships for both mentors and mentees.
- Career Lattices: This session on untraditional pathways toward professional development highlighted two case studies of CWEEL Governing Council members who have taken untraditional career pathways and mid-career pivots. The session provided actionable steps to navigate career lattices, demonstrating how role models, mentorship, and career awareness are fundamental to career development.
- Networking Session and Technology Raffle: CWEEL’s networking session was a highlight, featuring a technology raffle that raised over $2,600 in just two hours! The funds will support future scholarships for women pursuing careers in energy. A heartfelt thank you to all who participated in the raffle—your contributions are making a significant impact in our industry!
- CWEEL Breakfast with Molly Cripps: The CWEEL Breakfast was a memorable event, featuring a keynote speech by Molly Cripps. Molly shared her inspiring journey in the energy sector, highlighting the crucial role of supportive mentors in her career development and her passion for the industry. Her story resonated deeply with attendees, providing motivation and insight into the power of mentorship.
