Building Futures: AEE Kolkata Chapter Launches a CWEEL Group
Welcome, AEE Kolkata's new CWEEL Group!
We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone for the Council on Women in Environmental and Energy Leadership (CWEEL) as we join hands with the AEE Kolkata chapter. This collaboration marks a new group in our mission to empower women in the fields of energy and environment.
On October 23, 2024, they will hold the first CWEEL group event to discuss and propose the Annual Work Plan for 2024-2025 and beyond. This meeting will set the stage for a series of initiatives aimed at fostering growth, development, and increased participation of women in these critical sectors.
How the AEE Kolkata CWEEL Group will further the CWEEL mission:
- Encouraging Female Entrepreneurs: Through a series of webinars, they aim to inspire and support women entrepreneurs in India, providing them with the knowledge and resources to succeed.
- Ultimate Development of Women in Energy and Environment: They are committed to the holistic development of women in these fields, ensuring they have the opportunities and support needed to thrive.
- Increasing Women’s Participation: Their goal is to significantly boost the number of women actively participating in the energy and environmental sectors.
- Skill Development Programs: They will launch programs specifically designed to empower underprivileged women, equipping them with the skills necessary for a successful career.
- CWEEL Newsletter: They intend to inform members with regular updates, featuring news, insights, and stories from the world of energy and environment.
- Connecting Alumni of IISWBM: They aim to create a strong network of alumni from the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM) who are working in energy and environment.
- Building a WhatsApp Group: To facilitate better communication and collaboration, they will establish a WhatsApp group for our members.
