CWEEL Jordan Participates in the MENALINKS Female Expert Network Annual Meeting 2025 in Tunis
Tunis, Tunisia – CWEEL Jordan participated in the MENALINKS Female Expert Network Annual Meeting 2025, held in Tunis on 2–3 December, represented by its Liaison Officer, Eng. Suhair Al Mhairat, MSc., JCE, CEM®REP™, CSDP®, EDGE. The meeting brought together women decision-makers and technical experts from across the MENA region to advance regional cooperation and inclusive approaches to the energy transition.
The MENALINKS programme supports partner countries—Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, and Türkiye—in strengthening the integration of renewable energy through smart grids, flexibility solutions, and sector coupling, contributing to resilient and sustainable energy systems.
During the two-day meeting, participants exchanged knowledge on the role of women experts in driving the energy transition, discussed regional challenges and opportunities, and emphasized the value of cross-country collaboration. The programme combined technical and regulatory inputs with facilitated discussions to identify shared priorities and capacity needs.

A key milestone of the meeting was the launch of the MENALINKS Female Speaker Database, aimed at increasing the visibility of women experts and supporting their engagement in regional and international energy dialogues.
CWEEL Jordan’s participation reflects its ongoing commitment to promoting gender equality, inclusion, and women’s leadership in clean energy, water, and sustainability, while strengthening regional partnerships that support a just, inclusive, and sustainable energy transition.
