CWEEL Impact: A Community Effort
At the Council on Women in Environmental and Energy Leadership (CWEEL), we are dedicated to inspiring, empowering, and connecting women across the globe. Our recent events highlight the incredible efforts of our members to foster a supportive and impactful community. Here are two standout events that showcase the diverse ways CWEEL groups are making a difference:
CWEEL New England Group: 2025 Kickoff Networking Brunch
On January 24th, 2025, the CWEEL New England group held their Annual Kickoff, and this year it was a networking brunch. A total of 18 CWEEL members and guests met at Plant City in Providence. Everyone enjoyed getting to know each other over a delicious plant-based brunch, plus they got to network and share experiences as women in energy and environment. This event was a fantastic opportunity to build connections and set the tone for a year of collaboration and growth.
AEE Rocky Mountain Chapter: CWEEL Group Bowling Event
The CWEEL group based in Denver, Colorado had an amazing show at their first-ever Bowling Event! Each of these ladies is extremely talented in the energy profession and showed off their skills in the Strike zone too. This was an amazing time bowling, and they welcome you to join them for their upcoming events. The camaraderie and fun shared during this event exemplify the spirit of CWEEL and our commitment to creating engaging and supportive environments for our members.

You can become a member by adding division membership to your AEE membership or by forming a CWEEL group within your local AEE chapter.
